Bequest

There are many reasons why making a bequest is an increasingly popular alternative for those interested in supporting our work beyond their lifetime. Sometimes everyday commitments mean that we are unable to help today, but we can consider a gift for the future. 

A high percentage of Australians die without leaving a Will.  We urge you to speak with your solicitor today to finalise what is the most important document that you will ever sign. After remembering family and friends, we encourage you to consider choosing a worthy charity that you believe will make a difference when you are gone.

We hope that you will consider Nungalinya College and the work we have done over more than 33 years with Indigenous Church leaders and Indigenous communities.

The correct wording for leaving a gift to Nungalinya College is:

I, …………….    bequeath to Nungalinya College Incorporated of Dripstone Road, Casuarina, Northern Territory 0810…. (either… a percentage of residue… or percentage of estate or …estate) free of all duties for which the written acknowledgment of an official of the College shall be sufficient discharge.
